WANDERING THE CITY

APARTMENT 2

910 MEDINA STUDIOS

Because this is set in San Myshuno the City Living Expansion Pack for The Sims 4 is required.  However, other than the Base game that is the only pack necessary.

Setup

If the 910 Medina Studios apartment (Salim Benali) is occupied, evict all tenants.  All other apartments may remain as they are, or you may evict households & either leave them empty or replace them with households that you create or download from the Gallery.  It is suggested that you read the goals & requirements before making your decision.

Sim Creation

The heir from Apartment 1 is the Main Sim for Apartment 2, he or she can have any traits you desire.  This will be the only playable Sim in this Apartment.  Exceptions are: claiming beds, wives taking pregnancy tests & pregnant sims can be played to “Have Baby…”, “Check in at Front Desk” commands.

It is suggested that you make two save files at the beginning of the challenge, one to play & one to have as a “Base” game.  If you are unsatisfied with the results or if you lose the challenge, having a “Base” game saved will allow you to replay the Apartment.

Apartment Requirements

Rent 910 Medina Studios apartment, unfurnished.  Reduce money to 100 simoleons (if extra goal was reached in previous apartment add reward Simoleons to this amount), easiest way that I know of to do that is: Shift+Ctrl+C; testingcheats on; Money 100.  Changeable traits of apartment can be set to whatever you want.  However, keeping in mind your goals will help you.  Apartment must reach 40,000 simoleons in value.  This is a 1-bedroom apartment, but because all children deserve a bedroom, you must make this a 2-bedroom apartment before the heir reaches the toddler age.

Main Goals for Apartment 2

Main Sim will have the Art Critic career.

Max out Painting or Writing skills (max out both skills to earn heir an additional 200 simoleons).

Complete Painter Extraordinaire or Bestselling Author Aspiration.

Main Sim can marry whomever they wish.  Spouse cannot bring any simoleons with him/her, however spouse can have a job if he/she is employed when he/she joins the household.  Have a naturally born heir born within the marriage (not adopted or alien abduction offspring, if your sim marries an alien an alien heir is allowed), this heir will continue the challenge in apartment 3.   

Cannot age up the heir until his/her birthday.

Once heir becomes a Young Adult the challenge ends & then continues in Apartment 3.  If any of the above required goals have not been met, consider the challenge lost.

Travel

Can travel within Home District freely, must have 500 simoleons to travel to other districts within San Myshuno, must have 1,000 simoleons to travel outside of San Myshuno.  Cannot travel to Granite Falls or Selvadorada until heir is at least at toddler stage & must have 1,500 simoleons.  Work travel is an exception, but Aspiration travel must adhere to guidelines listed above.

Incidentals

Set Lifespan to Normal, Full Autonomy, Auto age non-played sims checked.
